Aluminium Sash Clamps with Feet - 900mm - Pack of 4

These aluminium sash clamps with supporting feet are an upgrade on the traditional aluminium sash clamps while still maintaining the original's features and benefits. The upgrade being the addition of cast iron feet at both ends of the clamps. The feet allow the clamps to stand freely and securely on your work surface. This means your workpiece can be clamped during glue ups without the risk of the clamps ever falling over. Constructed from a sturdy flat aluminium beam with large surface area cast iron heads and tails that measure 50mm high x 45mm wide they can exert high pressure without deforming and are also tapered towards each other to enable true parallel clamping.

The clamps are fully adjustable as the tail can be locked off in 25mm increments and the lead screw has a travel of 45mm. The smooth running rolled acme threaded bar provides easy and rapid movement of the clamp head and is wound by a crank handle to maximise the force exerted. The feet elevate the clamp adequately so that the handle can be wound without obstruction. These clamps have a large clamping capacity of 900mm and because of the aluminium construction an additional benefit is that the bar will not mar the surface of your workpiece.
