The Rutlands® PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) combines TH3 respiratory protection with eye, face and head protection. Included is a spare filter and lens pack (1 x HEPA TH3 filter, 5 x pre filters, 1 x mesh filter and 1 x visor lens) along with a tough, impact resistant tool storage case.

A powerful, lightweight, battery powered fan draws air through two pre-filters coupled with a high capacity HEPA filter and then blows clean air down into the air fed mask over the user's face. The fan sends up to 200 litres of clean filtered air per minute and has a positive pressure system allowing the user to breathe as normal without the face shield misting. On a single battery charge it will deliver clean filtered air for up to 6 hours.

The digital control pad allows you to pre-select one of the two air flow rates and features a battery level indicator. The air flow alarm activates audibly and by vibration when the diagnostic system detects changes in the battery or filter conditions, informing the operator of a reduction in air flow. Extremely comfortable to wear the fabric waist belt is padded for optimal fit and weight distribution. The helmet is balanced, weighs less than 0.5kg and will accommodate users with spectacles and facial hair without any loss in protection, while providing a clear wide field of vision. The polycarbonate visor has an anti-scratch coating and is hinged to raise or lower. The breathing tube has a flexible helix that adjusts to the appropriate length for the individual user and features two swivel joint connectors.

The PAPR is fitted with a HEPA filter and two pre-filters and is supplied with a helmet and visor, flexible breathing tube, belt assembly, 3Ah Li-Ion battery and charger, air flow test kit and a carry bag.
