Dovetail Marker

Precision CNC machined from solid aluminium with a black anodised finish this simple to use tool allows for precise marking out of dovetails. It features four of the most commonly used dovetail angles for both hardwoods and softwoods. The marker is easy to use and will guarantee accuracy for both hobbyist and professional woodworkers. A series of graduations etched in white for easy reading allows you to precisely repeat the length of your dovetail marking along the edge of your workpiece. Secured to the rear of the marker is a rectangular block which butts up the edge of your workpiece to ensure the dovetails are always marked squarely.

One half of the marker features 1:5 or 23° and 1:6 or 19° angles for use with softwoods, the inside of the gauge is angled at 19° and the outside is angled at 23°. The other half features 1:7 or 16° and 1:8 or 14° angles for use with hardwoods, the inside of the gauge is angled at 16° and the outside is angled at 14°. ©
